Railways have decided to introduce a new Garib Rath Express train between Delhi and Bapudham Motihari in Bihar from February 9.
The weekly superfast express will leave from Hazrat Nizamuddin station every Monday at 8.45 pm and reach Bapudham Motihari the next day at 4.05 pm, sources in the Northern Railways said.
In the return direction, the train will leave Bapudham Motihari every Wednesday at 4.30 pm and arrive here at 12.55 pm the next day, they said, adding it will have stoppages at Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Lucknow, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Narkatiganj, Bettiah and Sugauli.
Sources said the train was originally scheduled to start journey from Anand Vihar station in the Capital. However, since the station is yet to be commissioned, Railways decided to start the train from Hazrat Nizamuddin station instead.
According to the railway time table, Railways also propose to run a Garib Rath express from Anand Vihar to Varanasi.link
